Juneteenth Parade Volunteer Summary

​Volunteers for the Juneteenth parade play a crucial role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and celebrates the holiday's significance with dignity and joy.

 

In addition to the above committees, below is a summary of the various roles and responsibilities that volunteers may undertake during the parade. This is not a complete list:

  1. Setup and Breakdown

  2. ​Parade Route Marshals

  3. ​Registration and Check-In

  4. ​Information Booth and Way-finding​

  5. Water and Refreshments Stations

  6. ​First Aid and Safety Support

  7. ​Cultural Engagement and Education

  8. ​Photography and Social Media​

Volunteers are essential in creating a memorable and meaningful Juneteenth parade, contributing their time and energy to honor this important celebration of freedom and resilience.
